This broke shortly after I got it and I can't get it fixed. When you call for service you find there are only 2 authorised service providers in the New York area. Apparently they don't make much$ on it because you get low priority. You also learn its made by Electrolux not fridgidaire. You call a place in Atlanta that has no one with any authority who you can talk to, Various committees and such to give you a run around. The service guy came out butThey don't have the parts, and after almost 2 months they can't get them: no sign of this ever working. repeated calls back to Electrolux only get more aggravation. You effectively get no warranty with this, and its very likely to break. Thank goodness I still had the 12 year old Maytag to hook back up. |
